Tooth bleaching involves the placement of a bleaching solution on the teeth to eliminate stains and discoloration. The solution is held in place by a custom-made, see-through tray that fits over the teeth - much like a mouthpiece worn by a professional boxer.

Bleaching is a safe, effective and relatively easy means of producing a whiter smile.

Two bleaching methods are available: Power Bleaching with a Laser, done at our office, and At-Home-Bleaching, which provides for home use (not to be confused with over-the-counter bleaching products available in your local drug store).

The difference between the two is the strength of the whitening agent and the time it takes to get effective results. Power bleaching usually takes three to six visits, while home bleaching may take up to four weeks of regular use.

Sensitive teeth, or those that are chipped, eroded or weakened by cavities, should be repaired or protected before they are bleached.

Today's "on the go" lifestyles demand time saving alternatives. Our in-office bleaching is an excellent option for the patient that wants instant results. Take home custom trays are great, but results can take up to three to four applications. With the in-office "Power Bleach" you spend one hour in the chair, and you have that beautiful white smile that usually takes days to achieve.

We recommend that patients also have a "at-home bleach" so that they are able to maintain the beautiful smile. We offer our custom trays and touch up beach kits to all of our patients at no cost when they are finished with the "Power Bleach" treatment.

Custom Trays

This is the less expensive whitening, with wonderful results that will make you smile!

custom tray bleaching is a less-mess, better results, easier than the "strips or paints" that you can buy over the counter, way to improve your smile. Impressions of your teeth are taken here in our office to create a tray that will fit your teeth. These trays come in a patient kit that has a case for your trays, plenty of bleach to get you started and whitening toothpaste to brush with when you are finished. You will start to notice results in the first three to four application.

Question: How long do I need to wear my trays?
Answer: We offer "Night White" bleach that can be worn for up to 8 hours. "Day White" bleach is used during the day, two applications of one hour. One application in the morning and one at night.

Question: What is the difference in price?
Answer: Custom trays are $300 and our Power bleach is $550 (comes with custom trays).
