Smile Analysis
Say "cheese!" Does this phrase
want to make you smile and show off your teeth?
How do you perceive your smile?
The following questions are designed to bring out feelings about how
your smile affects your self-image and your interactions with others.
1. Do you love the appearance of your teeth and smile?
2. Do you ever turn your face when smiling or hold you hand in
front of your mouth when talking to others?
3. How does your smile make you feel?
4. Is there anything you would like to change about your smile?
5 Have you ever held back a laugh because you felt uncomfortable
with your smile?
6 Do you ever look at others with beautiful smiles and wish you
had one too?
7 How would a new smile make you feel?
How do you feel about your smile from the
"objective" standpoint? Look in the mirror and smile normally.
Then, think of something very funny and give yourself a big, laughing
smile. The big smile may not look great when you are unhappy
with your teeth, but when your teeth are improved your smile looks
wonderful.
Do you know what bothers you about your teeth? Here are some
questions to help you pinpoint your answer.
1. Are all of your teeth brilliant
white or are they a little yellow or stained looking?
2. Are you missing any teeth?
3. Are any of your teeth crooked or uneven?
4. Do you think any of your teeth are too big or too small?
5. Are any of your spaces between your teeth to big?
6. Are the edges of your teeth smooth?
7. Do you "grind" your teeth? Are any edges of your teeth
chipped?
8. Do you have a "gummy" smile? Do you show too much gum?
9. Are your gums receding?
10. Do you have old fillings in your mouth that are discolored and
show too much?
If you would like to improve your smile, please give us a call at
674-9977.
We
would like to help. Dr. Neilsen will give you a smile "so
bright that you will have to wear shades."
